Ensure your upper body is in a comfortable position.
Bend your upper leg and place the foot on the floor in front of your lower knee.
Keeping your body stable, raise your lower leg up off the floor.
Ensure you keep the leg straight.
Control the movement as you lower it back down and repeat.

4.Resisted Hip Abduction


Lie on your good side, making sure there is a straight line from your head, through your trunk, down your legs to your toes.
Tie a resistance band around your ankles.
Straighten your legs and pull the toes up towards you.
Raise the top leg straight up, then control the motion back down.
Ensure your leg goes directly up, as though sliding up and down a wall.

5.Prone Hip Extension


Lie on your front with your legs straight
Gently tighten your stomach muscles, then slowly raise one leg up straight off the floor.
Lower this leg and repeat with the other leg.
